place this spring throughout Catalan villages and towns. one of this village is Sant Pere Pescador, my village; where the blessing of horses has a long tradition. Innumerable riders came in fancy riding dresses, riding down the roads and to either the church or Plaça Major.The riders don't have to starve or suffer thirst -they are offered special pastries (Brunyols), it's typical in this zone; and wine from the villages.
In Sant Pere Pescador , the blessing of horses is traditionally taking palace on the Plaça Major.
This year,riders ang guests seized the beautiful day and met in the park near the river for a bit on the show.
